I doubt the plug in thing will work. I have read in here that it does not work. With out moisture they will dry up and die. There is some moisture some where that is drawing them. If there is a crawl space, letting some air in to it could help dry them. Sulfur was used years ago to kill bugs. I do not know about them. If you can stand the smell, they would be a good try.

Greenhouse gases have the ability to absorb energy at these longer wavelengths. Specifically between 4 micrometers and 100 micrometers. Though absorption of higher energy modes is possible it is largely inconsequential to the greenhouse effect as those frequencies are not emitted by the Earth's surface. When this electromagnetic radiation strikes a molecule with an uneven distribution of electric charges, called an electric dipole, and a matching absorption frequency it causes the molecule to oscillate or vibrate which in turn either re-emits the energy or converts it into kinetic energy. This increase in kinetic energy is what we perceive as an increase in temperature. If a collision with another molecule occurs the energy is again converted into vibrational energy which can then be re-emitted. This interconverting between vibrational energy, kinetic energy and infrared light continues until it can escape into space unimpeded.

Don't worry, you are not going mentally ill. The reasons you are feeling this way are because you are constantly thinking about mental illnesses, therefore, you are focusing on that. The mind is very powerful and suggestible, especially when you are the one making the suggestions. The most likely reason it started after using the bath salts (which are not quite as dangerous as most of the information out there suggests, but they are still somewhat dangerous, they have also been in use in small circles in around the country for a few decades now) is because you read up on the potential dangers, read that they were highly dangerous, can cause psychosis, etc. and took it to heart, therefore, you started thinking that it does in fact cause all that, therefore, because the mind is highly suggestible, your mind started the process of producing these issues, on the basis that you believe that is what the bath salts do. What most of the sources you read probably didn't say (either because of lack of knowledge or simple bias) is that when it says that bath salts can cause "can produce psychosis from all the toxins", what is meant by that is "short term psychosis", otherwise known as a psychedelic trip, a hallucinogenic state that is induced by some drugs, that ends with the other psychological effects, as the drug breaks down in the body, bath salts do not cause long term psychosis, which would be what you seem to believe is coming. When you research and begin to believe that you are becoming mentally ill, it is possible that you are in fact incidentally setting that goal for yourself, you pay extra attention to every little detail of how your mind is working, so when something goes off beat, you dwell on it, and focusing on every little off beat thing causes your mind to produce it again, for the purposes of examining what it was, this causes off beat functions in your mind that otherwise would be occasional and fleeting to repeat multiple times, thus causing you to freak out because it appears your mind isn't working right, and it goes from there, anxiety becomes fear, stress from constant fear causes headaches, your drive to find out what is going on drives you to look more into mental illnesses, researching it causes it to be on your mind even more, you start thinking about these things happening being possible, you wonder if your mind is gonna start experiencing those things (because it's off whack), you "con" your mind into producing those effects because your always thinking "it's possible", so it happens, you dwell on them, your mind reproduces them so you can examine them, so on and so forth.
This happened to me, I bought into the whole "'this substance' (don't want to mention which one) can possibly cause schizophrenia", I started researching it, so on like the cycle I mentioned above, I bought into it, and it got to the point where my mind would become foggy, I would hear people yelling at me when no one was there, and I would see shapes, visual distortions, and people that weren't there. Someone, who had experience with the same substance(s) and had a similar thing happen to him once, informed me that it was much more likely that it was all in my head, even the hallucinations, I thought about that, and have never felt mentally ill or had a hallucination when sober again.
Hope this helps, it is highly likely it is all in your head, if you are not reassured by this, go ask your old drug using friends if they've ever had an experience like that, it is likely that one of them has (if not, you at least know that by now, they've taken more drugs than you and are still sane, another thing to consider), also, if they offer you drugs, just say I'd rather not, or not right now even, if they are truly your friends, they will respect your choice (as long as you respect their choice to use).
